If a tool stinks, no amount of warranty is worth it. 

Having said that, I own 2 Ridgid cordless drills, a Ridgid belt sander, a Ridgid cordless impact driver, and a Ridgid shop vac. I have zero issues with all of them. When you throw in the lifetime warranty, it’s a no-brainer for me. I took in my drill one time because the batteries would not hold a charge. They told me that they have new type batteries that require a new battery charger. They handed me 2 new batteries and a new battery charger.

I've got a earlier version of the Ridgid and I wouldn't buy another one. The collet doesn't hold the bit like it is suppose to, so the bit has a tendency to slip down and ruin whatever you are routing. I just bought the little Dewalt with both the fixed and plunge bases. I really like that one.

I've been looking at one of those trim routers for a new CNC router I have in mind to build. 

Let us know how the cabinets turned out. I've asked some of my buddies here whether or not you should even ship them if you haven't been paid, but even they couldn't give a clear answer.

Now, there are six routers in the shop ranging from a 7/8 hp up to the 3 1/2 hp router dedicated to the router table and all of them Porter Cable.  But, six is an even number.  

So, there we are, Jeff and myself are working on some highly secret cabinets - in fact, so secret the clients don't want to leave a money trail so they're not paying us for them but we're troopers.

Anyway, the edging was intended to be attached proud of the tops and I got to thinking about a smaller router to trim the edging and went on a search and decided on this...

Y'all have heard me proclaim Ridgid in the past and I'm gonna do it again.

Folks, that 'lil router is the cat's whiskers (it even comes with a flush trimming bit!).  For as small as it is it is a work-a-holic and it's variable speed to boot!

You must make certain you register any purchase of a Ridgid tool in order to get the LSA (lifetime service agreement).
