[Woodworkers] Pizza Peel and Pizza Cutter

Hello Everyone,
 
So with Christmas right around the corner, I thought about making all  the 
girls (Wife, Daughter, Nieces, Great Nieces, etc) a pizza peel and pizza  
cutter as a great present. Has anyone made these and if so, which works 
better,  round or rectangle?  What size would you recommend. I could glue  them up 
and turn them on the outboard side of one of my lathes, or just  glue them 
up and rout or bandsaw out the shape.
 
Any and all help is greatly appreciated.
