1.5"-2" wide x 3/4" thick poplar door frame with a groove down the center
to accept a 1/4" mdf panel.
the door frame can be joined depending on your setup, personally I would
use a domino system or stub tenons.
Glue the mdf panel into the groove, no worries about movement.
