[Woodworkers] A really Woodworking Question

I had a friend request that I build a set of doors for an IKEA shelving
unit that was composed of 1 inch coated hollow fiberboard approximately 1/8
inches thick. (It was a real POS but she loved it.) After a little head
scratching I went with a Shaker style cope and stick unit that accepted 1/4
inch plywood inserts. I used red oak for the edges to give it some
strength and I threw in a 3rd hinge to prevent pull out on the cabinet
side. I later had to put a back on the same unit as it was sold open
backed from IKEA.
