[Woodworkers] New tape measure

My switch to metric (not in everything, mind you) revolves around
incorporating my CNC router more into my workflow, and my use of 3D
printing in the shop. 3D printers, while they can run in inch mode, almost
always use metric for the file formats. Thus, when I make designs to be 3D
printed, I design them in metric (mm).

In addition, when I get designs in for CNC machining for customers, they
are also in metric. So, naturally, all of my CNC designs are also in mm.
But... that makes it an interesting conundrum when I switch from metal to
wood and precut some of the wood. I have a digital readout on my
tablesaw and on my router, so I just quickly switch over to metric and make
my cuts.

I can tell you that it is soooo much easier with real numbers vs.
fractions. Sure, I can calculate fractions, but when you are reading off
0.2 in on the drawing and have to convert that to a fraction, well, it
takes a bit longer. And, of course, you aren't going to find many tape
measures with 0.1" increments. So, metric it is.
