[Woodworkers] Toys for Hospitals

Dave,

   I use the Wood magazine plans for construction series toys (https://www.woodmagazine.com/project-plans/toys-kids). These are not fast to make but they are nice. I’ve even used their plans to make a tank (in their MIL spec plans).

Resurrecting this for a different purpose.  Many years ago I bought some pretty simple yet dang cleaver wooden toys from a fellow that I am sure has long since passed on to the great beyond.  His toys were for older kids, a logging truck, 2 different fire engines, a crayon truck, and I don’t remember what else he offered.  It has always been in the back of my mind to tackle building trucks when I retire.  I now have an idea to put together a small group of guys to build toys for a local event that helps people at Christmas.  One of the most popular toys are the wooden ones and the last few years the makers of the wooden toys have fallen off.  So I am hoping to fill at least part of that gap.    

I have some ideas on what I would like to do but I need guidance in the form of pictures, and or plans.  I have poked around a bit on the internet for plans and have found some interesting ones.  But I feel like I have only touched on what might be out there and my search criteria is not hitting the motherload.  

Can anyone share some pictures and or plans or maybe point me towards that mother load of plans :)  I am not opposed to paying for the plans if I can get what I am after.
