[Woodworkers] Veneer Question

I've not worked with veneer, so I'm learning. I've got non adhesive veneer
stock I'll be using on plywood.. I'll Get adhesive back next time..
The veneer pieces have some 'rolls and bubbles'.
What do I need to do to get flat?  Glue it an roll the stuff flat or
something else..oh.. Any other thing I need to know is appreciated.
