[Woodworkers] Any recommendations for a router?

I've got that same 7529. Thought it was a great router, until my control
board failed. The funny thing is that I know it worked the last time I used
it, so it failed while sitting someplace. It makes me think that moisture
got into the speed control variable resistor.

For now, I just pulled the control board and wired directly to 120V (kept
the on-off switch).

My old Hitachi M12V has been going solid for 23 years now in my router
table, although the bearings need to be replaced. I've heard good things
about the Bosch routers.

Regards,
-Steve
