Hi Clint
I have had the 7518 in my router table as well for the past 12 or so years and it’s still rock solid, before that I had the Bosch 1619 in there and that router is a good fit for the table and hand use. May I ask why your not repairing the 7518?
Thank you

That and a bathroom addition were the last things on our 20 year quest to remodel/alter every room in our house. Just in time as my wife is using the room as she works from home. I’ve been itching to get into the shop and do smaller craftsman projects now that remodeling is complete. Lathe projects or decorative boxes or a guitar or something with steam-bending. Anything that doesn’t involve framing or tiling.

I was pleased with it. Then it failed after not that much use. Later learned it was a defective control board which apparently P-C didn’t make available or not for very long. Life happened and I haven’t done much routering for a long time.
