[Woodworkers] Stupid question # 347

The ones I have cut down have what looks to be a low quality form of 
particle board.

I have always routed out some of the interior board and added in a piece 
of solid wood,

usually just a piece of cut down 2 by material. Glue it in and your good 
to go.
