Right ! And I have been looking at veneer already.
But getting it in the exact thickness as a saw kerf  presents the problem.
Thinking now that I will adjust the kerf, by using a shim or even a feeler gauge to make the kerf fit the veneer.
Seems to be  the simplest method.
Off I go now to the veneer malls.
