Is the UPS shutting off or going in to battery mode?
If it's shutting off you need a new UPS as the batteries are shot.
If it's going into battery mode you may be able to adjust the sensitivity
of the cut over voltage.

Your printer is drawing a lot of power at power on, they all do. This is
causing a voltage drop (you probably see the lights dim if they're on the
same circuit) just enough for the UPS to think it's a power loss or
brownout and it switches to battery.
