Seems like you might have to do this by hand, with a file and some sandpaper.

Only way I could see a template would work is a bit with a top bearing.  Even then unless you had multiple identical pieces I can't see it being easier than just doing it by hand.

I've been staring at th e picture of that project centerpiece for the last 10 minutes.
Still cannot see how I would route a bevel using the template?
Cannot use the router table since the bearing is on the wrong end of the bit.
Same problem in using the router free-handed.
Woe is me !!
