Now hang on.  Seems like a job for the handyman's secret weapon.  Probably get another 10 years out of those.

Weave a new seat support out of duct tape and throw on a cushion and  Bob's yer Uncle.  Heck that would be a genuine piece of Americana.

Keep in mind that this from the guy that drug a dilapidated old Adirondack chair home when he cleaned out dad’s place……..
