Like several others have said I would not use treated lumber for several reasons. The first and foremost is that it is unhealthy to work with, let alone eat off of. I would go to either quartersawn white oak, mahogany, or teak.

Subject: [Woodworkers] Need Sturdy Picnic Table Plans

I am looking for bullet proof picnic table bench plans to be made with treated wood. I saw a set made with 2x6 material for the top and 2x10 material for the seats with 2x6 trapizoids for the end supports. I would like to make 8 ft. tables. I want to bolt the end supports with 5/16 carriage bolts.

Does anyone have plans for something I could use?
