<p class="MsoNormal">After a several hours, some not so Christmas-y language and a calming adult beverage I got both routers back in operation. I am thankful for the internet and those who have blazed the diy repair trail. Total cost about $5.</p>

<p class="MsoNormal">In January after USPS/UPS/et al get caught up on packages I’ll pick a new router for the table.  Still haven’t made the final choice.</p>
