In my case it has to power only the computer and monitor for less than a minute before my natural gas generator and transfer switch automatically kicks in, so run time is really not a factor for me. </div><div id="AppleMailSignature"><br></div><div id="AppleMailSignature">Are they less reliable, more cheaply built, don't have a life as long as a 1000 or 1500 VA unit?
