<div dir="ltr">I got my pressure washer back in 1998. On the advice of some now long defunct pressure washing group, I purchased the best HD had. It is a Generac, came with a Honda motor, and the higher end pump (although I forget the brand now). <div><br></div><div>The pressure washers back then all had "cleaning units", which was derived from multiplying the pressure by the gallons per minute. Oddly enough, the one I purchased had slightly lower "cleaning units". But, it has held up for almost 19 years, and I've been happy with my purchase. I think I paid $700, and the low end pressure washer was $400 at the time. It broke down after a year. After doing some research I found that there are two different pump designs, verticle and horizontal. One is designed to last 50 hours. The other is designed to last 500 hours. My first pump broke after almost exactly 50 hours.
