Good to know, Sid. Thanks for sharing.
Along those same lines I purchased a 12" blade when I went to install
prefinished flooring in a house. My past experience has been that the
finish will quickly dull a saw blade. I purchased an 80 tooth two pack of
blades from Home Depot. Avanti brand (I swear I've seen those at Harbor
Freight, too). At the time it was $30 for a two pack, so I figured it was
throw-away. That first blade made it through all of the flooring and trim
for the whole house (1300 sq ft). Not a bad deal at the time. I see now
it's $54 for a 2-pack.
Regards,
-Steve
