I can't believe it's been 5 years. Lauri's passing was even longer ago. Joe
and Lauri are missed by so many people.

I wish they still made Zima, I would definitely raise a can to the 2 of
them. Or would I? They would always bring adult beverages with them when it
was their turn to come to Missoula for a visit, beer mostly but maybe some
wine and always a six pack of Zima. But you know what - I don't remember
anybody, Joe Lauri, my old lady Denise or me ever drinking one! It would
just remain there in their cooler and home it would go with them at the end
of our visit. I wonder if it was the same cans of Zima that made the trip
down from The Twisted Knot Workshop every time? But I will hoist a beer
tonight in honor of Joe and Lauri, they are missed.

Doh, a beer I want a beer

Ray, the guy who buys me beer

Me, the guy whom Ray buys beer

Fa, a long way to go for beer

So, I think I'll have a beer

La, La la la la la la

Ti, no thanks I'll have a beer

And that will bring us back to Doh! Doh! Doh!

Today marks the 5th anniversary of Joe's passing. I think I mentioned
before that I put a forever reminder in my calendar to remind me of him and
know how long it had been. At the time I did it as a way to not forget him
as more time passed. Funny thing is to this point that has not been an
issue, as I think of him often. There are more than a few what would Joe do
moments in my head. Then of course having a memento of something from my
past (long before I met Joe) that I got from Joe is prominently displayed in
my shop. So I get a reminder of two great people that I have known in my
life every time I am in my shop.

Lets all raise a toast to Joe today and wonder what kind of craziness he
would have entertained us with.

2Dave
