Wow, has it been five years already? I miss him as well, especially the
stories. I will certainly drink a toast to his memory this evening. With
it being -7F outside right now and 20 mph and associated wind chill, it is
something Joe would have appreciated. I do recall a story telling contest
that Joe would initiate, giving three random ideas to work into a story.
Might be something for the list to tackle over the next week.

Today marks the 5th anniversary of Joe's passing. I think I mentioned
before that I put a forever reminder in my calendar to remind me of him and
know how long it had been. At the time I did it as a way to not forget him
as more time passed. Funny thing is to this point that has not been an
issue, as I think of him often. There are more than a few what would Joe do
moments in my head. Then of course having a memento of something from my
past (long before I met Joe) that I got from Joe is prominently displayed in
my shop. So I get a reminder of two great people that I have known in my
life every time I am in my shop.
Lets all raise a toast to Joe today and wonder what kind of craziness he
would have entertained us with.
