Started in her ear, worked around her neck and the side of her face, and left lasting pain for many years. I got the shot when they started recommending it for shingles survivors. I don't want that apin again.

The shingles were bad enough but I was one of the lucky 15% that the shingles leave behind nerve pain in the area of the rash. Mine went from the left side of my belly button all the way around to my spine. The 1st year was miserable. When summer came around it eased up but as soon as it cooled off and had to start wearing heavy clothing it started in again. Almost 5 years later, the pain can still kick in for a short while but for the most part it’s just a dull sensation that I can put in the background of my mind. Moral of that story – GET YOUR DAMN SHINGLES SHOT!

I would work on it a little here and there and make some bad mistakes and so I’d quit working on it for another few months. I remember once asking this list of good people what type of glass I could use and still get the signal from the remote into the various devices (cable box, Blu ray, etc.). Joe was one of you who replied, and I kept that advice with me along the way. (I miss that goofy guy) All of a sudden this spring I got my motivation back and I’ve been putting in a lot of time out in the shop. I hope the feeling keeps going because I’ve got lots of projects I want to do. Now that the TV cabinet is done I’m cleaning up 5 years of clutter in the hopes of stating some of those projects.
