Great find. You don't see many of them around anymore. I don't know if you have a shaper, but I cut my tenons on a shaper using two 6" Diablo blades with a 1/2" arbo hole. I set mine up with spaces so I get perfect 1/4, 5/16, or 3/8" thick tenons.
It makes it super easy by running the stock face down with a zero clearance auxiliary fence. You really need to keep your hands away from the blades, but they come out great.
