If I was mass producing something in large quantities that required lots and lots of repetitive cuts, I could see where it might be worth the money. If a guy had a few thousand extra dollars sitting around it might be fun to toss in and see where it goes.

The above was pretty sarcastic, but really it's a neat idea if you can
justify the cost. It's self-zeroing, repeatable, and probably a lot
faster than using a tape measure with the old "Tap it with my fist" method.
If one of you jumps in on this let me know, I would LOVE to hear your
experience. Looks like it's estimated to start shipping in September.
Just in time for the holidays, in case any of you were struggling to
come up with that perfect Christmas gift for me. :)
