I built mine using a Penn State DC and plans from wood plans online
(Wood Magazine Issues # 100). I had a local sheet metal HVAC shop cut
out the pattern for the cone for me and they supplied all the 6" duct
work. It worked great in my 8' X 16' shop, but I think I had too
large-diameter ducting overall.
I'm just finishing my new shop and will be hanging the beast in there,
with somewhat re-designed piping. I'm thinking about 4" PVC this go
around and some better blast gates.
