[Woodworkers] Where's Joe?

I've tried replying about 10 today and always stopped.

So hard to believe Joe is gone. Like many others, I met Joe on The Oak back
in 1995. He was this young guy who seemed to know his way around shop, and
could always tell good stories. I still have all the emails archived on my
computer.

Then, there were some problems with Kip (although I never knew what they
were), and Joe and Keith Bohn formed Sawdusters. Everybody jumped ship over
to here. Keith disappeared soon after, and Jason soon started hosting.

Fast forward a few years and I became pretty good friends with Joe,
spending many hours in chat and on the phone with him. I only met him once
in person, but I did get to meet Laurie and check out his shop.

I spent quite a bit of time on the phone with him this last summer as he
and Jeff worked on a big project for my company. (And a fine job they did,
although we were a bit slow in paying for it).

I tried calling a few times over the last few weeks, but nobody ever
answered. Bad timing, I guess.

Joe, I'll never forget your wit, your laugh, your generosity, and your
special brand of humor. You had a big heart and were taken from us too
soon. You made a big impact on all of us. Wherever you are, I trust you are
happy to be with Laurie again, and probably have a huge shop full of old
Delta arn already, making sawdust once again.

Rest in peace, my friend, until we meet again.
