...you get yourself on a map.

This morning I showed one of the IRC regulars a Google Maps pushpin map of
all the Walmart distribution centers scattered across our fair land. I did
the search because I hadn't reached my trash knowledge limit for the week.

Ok, I lied. I did the search because I wanted to know why something I
ordered left Eagan, MN, went south to Hodgkins, IL then continued south to
Louisville, KY (a total of 709 miles) instead of heading west toward
Montana.

Anyway, he said, "That's a nice map, we oughta have a pushpin map of our
locations."

So I did one (still adding people) and here how it works.

The folks who are IRC regulars are RED pushpins

A blue star is an Honor Emblem

This is the map as it currently stands -
https://drive.google.com/open?id=1m3jdX4WpvCsBYmlI2_lEkje1gQw&usp=sharing

This is a private map. Meaning only those who have the link can see it.

Don't worry, you can't change it. Because it's all MINE, you see, all MINE!

What you CAN do is click on a pushpin or on a town name (in the left hand
vertical bar) and that person belonging to the pushpin will appear.

---

Since all of you are colleagues and long-time friends this is my invite to
all of you:

If you want to appear on the map then send me a BC email telling me:

Your name
Your Town, State

Your pushpin will appear in yellow until such time you become an IRC
regular in our chat room.

You can opt out by NOT having your name appear - just tell me so and I'll
give you some silly name but I'll still need your town.

I know the nicknames of most of you who ustawuz IRC regulars but put it in
your request for map placement just in case.

---

Any questions?

Send me a note BC either way.

That is all.
