Clint,
Walker Turner made some nice lathes back in the 1930's-1960's?? The original ones were 10" then they started making a 12" with a 2" gap over the bed by the headstock. The only problem is that they use non standard bearings that are no longer available with the exception of a guy in NJ. They are pretty expensive. Does it have the cast iron legs? Is it variable speed without changing the belt.
Like the Delta 1460, you have to disassemble the headstock to change the belt unless you replace it with a link belt.
