Welcome aboard, Carl!
It's kinda nice having an actual woodworker amongst us!
Big Dave
Oh, and don't get your hands too close to Joe. He's been known to bite...

Where did you get the mechanism from....there are several clock part vendors and you being an accountant and
all I hope you got the best deal. Did you use a plan or is that your own design...pretty neat either way...very nice.

No guys. Nothing so dramatic as that. I'm just an old retired accountant that enjoys woodworking. I didn't make the clock at the same time I did the cabinets. The clock took me around 85 hours to complete. I started it in Oct. and finished in Jan. I've attached additional pictures of the clock. It is made of 3/4 inch red oak and stained a golden oak with 3 coats of poly. The cabinets are also golden oak.

He could just be CIA on a sabbatical or a Nigerian Prince who made to America with his millions living in luxury. Don't see the need for mindless speculation. Jeez.

How do you manage to get so much done in a month?
I pondered on that very thing, too. I determined either; a) he's a high school shop teacher and his students did all the work or b) he's a Mafia hit man and had a month's vacation.
