[Woodworkers] Roofing question

I've built metal clad buildings for years, they make a cap piece for the peak they probably won't have it a HD or lowes but, most lumber yards around here you can order it they usually come in 10' 6" sticks and you can have it many different colors ask for metal ridge cap.

Anyone ever done this?  Is there a better way?      Thanks in advance for any help.  Doug in AZ.
